Start Cleaning Faster in PowerWash Simulator 2
Learn the cleaning loop, nozzle roles, free soap system and the best route through the opening jobs. Use the task list and dirt highlight to finish jobs without hunting blindly for the final specks.
Career Mode contains 38 new jobs across Muckingham and the wider Caldera County. Jobs pay Cash for washers and attachments, while Career and Free Play also award PowerWash Points for furniture and cosmetic customization at the Home Base.
Set up at the Home Base
Use the Job Map to choose Career assignments, visit the shop before leaving and return to the Home Base to clean and place unlocked furniture. Career jobs are the main source of Cash for new washers and equipment.
Learn the core cleaning controls
Practice holding or toggling the washer, switching washers, opening the nozzle and extension wheels, rotating the nozzle, opening the task list, crouching, jumping and activating the dirt highlight. The task list shows which named parts are still incomplete.
Match the nozzle to the surface
The 40 and 25 nozzles cover broad, lightly soiled areas; the 15 and 0 nozzles concentrate pressure on narrow seams and stubborn dirt. Turbo attacks small stubborn patches, while the Adaptable Nozzle lets you change spray width without swapping attachments.
Clean the Removals Van in sections
Begin with the roof and upper panels, sweep across both sides, clean the front and rear, then finish wheels, steps, handles and the underside. This is the opening Career job and can be completed with the free Prime Vista 1500 or Urban X U1.
Understand multi-stage jobs
The Public Facility introduces areas that reveal themselves in stages. Clean every currently available task to trigger the next section, then repeat the same top-to-bottom routine inside the newly opened area.
Use Soap 2.0 on stubborn layers
Soap is free to use and clings to dirty surfaces. Cover a heavily soiled section with the Soap Nozzle, then rinse it with any water nozzle to remove the softened grime faster.
Buy coverage upgrades first
The Adaptable Nozzle is the most flexible early attachment, while the SwirlForce Surf Ace is designed for floors and other large flat surfaces. Extensions, ladders, scaffolding, the scissor lift and abseiling kit solve height and reach problems in later jobs.
Finish the final percentage quickly
Open the task list, select an incomplete part and use dirt highlight while circling the object from multiple heights. Check undersides, rear faces, trim seams, wheel wells, roof edges and surfaces hidden behind props.
All 38 PowerWash Simulator 2 Career Jobs in Unlock Order

How to Find the Last Dirt in PowerWash Simulator 2
Use the upgraded object list, orange task markers and dirt highlighting to isolate the final unfinished surfaces. This route works for vehicles, buildings and multi-stage jobs.
When a job stalls near 100%, stop washing the whole map and narrow the search to one named task at a time. The sequel lets you mark multiple incomplete sections, shows distant orange indicators and unlocks new areas during multi-stage jobs, so the fastest solution is a controlled checklist sweep rather than random spraying.
Open the object list
Sort or scan the job checklist for every task below 100%. Start with the item showing the lowest completion percentage because it usually has the largest visible patch remaining.
- •Tiny repeated parts listed separately
- •A newly added task after a multi-stage unlock
- •One component hidden inside a larger object
Mark every unfinished task
Select the incomplete checklist entries. PowerWash Simulator 2 can mark multiple unfinished sections and display orange check indicators over distant targets, making it easier to identify the correct side of a large job.
- •A matching component on the opposite side
- •Upper and lower versions of the same part
- •Several identical doors, lights, wheels or supports
Pulse the dirt highlight
Face the marked object and trigger the dirt highlight in short bursts while slowly rotating around it. Look for small glowing lines or dots that remain after the larger grime has disappeared.
- •Thin dirt lines along seams
- •Spots hidden by wet reflections
- •Dark grime blending into dark materials
Switch to precision cleaning
Put away the surface cleaner and wide spray when only a sliver remains. Use a narrow fan, the red nozzle or a narrowed Adaptable Nozzle, then trace the edge from close range.
- •Window and panel borders
- •Lettering, bolts and trim
- •Corners where two surfaces meet
- •The lip around circular parts
Check every hidden angle
Crouch, step behind the object and look upward from below. Sweep the underside first, then the rear face, inner recesses and any space partly blocked by another component.
- •Undersides of vehicles and furniture
- •Backs of signs and panels
- •Inside wheel arches, frames and railings
- •Door jambs, interior corners and recessed handles
Use the correct access equipment
Move the ladder, Scissor Lift or cherry picker until the nozzle is level with the dirty surface. On tall vertical jobs, use the abseiling rig and inspect the top edge before descending in straight passes.
- •Roof ridges and upper ledges
- •The tops of beams, letters and decorations
- •Areas directly below a lift platform
- •High rear surfaces visible only from outside the main route
Recheck multi-stage sections
After a stage completes, pause and inspect the expanded checklist before continuing. Newly opened interiors, rooms and vehicle sections add fresh tasks that may sit away from the area you were just cleaning.
- •The inside of a structure revealed after its exterior
- •A newly opened door, hatch or compartment
- •Objects that move or appear when the next stage begins
- •Tasks added to the bottom of the object list
Run a final systematic sweep
Choose one direction and finish a complete route: top to bottom, clockwise around the exterior, then through every interior room. Keep only the final incomplete task marked and repeat the edge, underside and elevation checks until the completion ding triggers.
- •Returning to random spraying instead of following the route
- •Leaving one side of a repeated object unchecked
- •Using a broad tool that passes over narrow gaps
- •Assuming the visible front is the whole named task
